Metal Pin Dropping

On May 2, 2019, CCAP’s Utility/Heavy Construction students applied skills learned in the Annual Heavy Construction Equipment Rodeo Contest. Students maneuvered through obstacle courses of tasks such as Backhoe Push and Pull, Race to Fill a Dump Truck, and Metal Pin Dropping (dropping a metal pin into a 1 ½ inch PVC Pipe). The students, as well as their teacher, Mr. Jawaun Porter worked diligently in preparation for this rodeo contest.
