CCAP’s cybersecurity students at participated in the National Governor's Association Capture-the-Flag Cyber Challenge on April 24th & 25th. The cyber challenge was hosted by the Virginia Cyber Range, sponsored by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards and Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and made possible by the National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center.

There were 251 teams from across the nation participating in this cyber challenge event consisting of challenges in reconnaissance, cryptography and networking. Our teams at CCAP finished in the following places: 36th, 37th, 102nd & 175th. There were several students participating in the entire event and some who could only make it for one of the two days. We are so proud of our cybersecurity students at CCAP for their efforts, enthusiasm and success participation in this event. Each team was comprised of a mix of students between our two cybersecurity classes, "Cybersecurity Software Operations" and "Cybersecurity Systems Technology."
