Suffolk Humane SocietyThe Suffolk Human Society is hosting their Annual Paws for the Arts Gala on February 1, 2020, 6:30pm – 10:00pm at the Hilton Garden Inn, Constance Road, Suffolk. Vice Chair/Vice President J. Shallcross and Treasurer of the Board, Kerri Shallcross contacted CCAP’s welding instructor, Thomas Shirk in search for an auction item for the Gala. Mr. Shirk, along with his welding students presented Mr. Shallcross with one of the welding class’ most famous items, “The Butterfly”. Mr. Shirk and his students take great pride in their work, in is always eager to share their projects with the community.

If you live in Suffolk, I’m sure you have seen one of the beautiful butterflies around Suffolk. Donating the wonderful work of our students is an honor.
